About Us

US Kiters

The US Kiters association is a kiteboarding organization for free riders and instructors alike based in Hawai’i

It began in 2010 as Maui Kiteboarding Network and became national in scope by the mid-2012. US Kiters Association was formed with the intent of creating safety for the beach & beach users and among kiteboarders & kite instructors and other wind sports, sharing local and international knowledge for overall safety.

Our Maui examiner is Paul Franco, who utilizes his years of experience in Paragliding and Kite boarding to promote safety. Paul Franco is certified on Safety standards by IKO, PASA & KISS bringing the best of the all that knowledge to US Kiters. He has travelled to 26 countries as a kiteboarding ambassador and technical representative for Naish International, learning safety practices of kiteboarding from many different instructors.
